Something About Art and Design owner

We have seen in TV, social media or magazine beautiful that beautiful interior design and dreaming about having it in our houses, offices and business within our limited budget. In today's reality, with the economic being so erratic, and the cost of life being so high, it is almost impossible to achieve high interior design without being broke. Here are a few quick tricks to enhance your spaces (homes, offices and business) within a reasonable budget or none budget.

Decluttering

A busy space, where all things are misplace, can feel out of control and give the appearance of dirty.

Instantly enhancing the look of any space by decluttering. Take on any clutter that is gathering on your nightstand, kitchen topes, dining table office desk, and get organize or get rid of it. If your space decor is looking outdated, old or teared apart, it’s time to move it out and see at your local affordable stores, or thrift stores for replacement. Sometime, tackling a decluttering project can feels overwhelming, start small with one room at a time. By creating piles for items to trash, donate and sell, which is a great alternative to allow the good stuff serve others, can help your declutter exercise and give you sense of good and wellbeing at the end. As you move items out, your space will

instantly open up, lock cleaner and feels serene.

Fresh paint

Adding a new coat of fresh paint will automatically enhance the aspect of any space. It is not necessary to paint every wall on the space, you can create a focal wall and paint it differently that the rest of the space. Not only is it one of the easiest ways to improve your home, but it’s also a great way to make your home appear bigger and brighter if you choose light colors. There are good options for affordable paint, and also, the home department stores offer paint at discount when previous clients return them. Look into those special offers first to determine if that option if feasible for your space. For smaller projects, such as a wall in the living room or entryway, powder rooms, office room, and bedrooms, try painting these rooms yourself. For larger projects, such as painting at the staircases, and the entire living spaces, entire bedroom, I would suggest to recommend hiring professionals to handle the job or invite family and friends to help you with the job.

Reuse Furniture and home decor

No money for new furniture or home decor, let's re use them. Easy on your bank account (maybe not so easy on your back), reusing furniture (paint them a new color or add texture, rearranging them in other way or change their location, can make your space look completely different and give them new life. Changing the placement of a chair, sofa, even the end table will bring a new look in your living room. If there is a chair in your home office that is not longer serving you, it might be to big for the space or the color is not longer your vive, move it to your living room, bedroom to fill an empty corner. The best part about this design trick, it works for every room in your home and you don't need to pay anything or maybe just the paint. The same approach can be taken with the home decor, pillows, cushions and others, reuse them in other spaces, and see how the space is transformed.

Updating light Fixtures

Thank to higher power for the spray paints. This is a very easy way to enhance your home, office or business. If you are limited in money to buy new light fixtures, paint them. Adding or improving both interior and exterior lighting is an excellent, and affordable way to spruce up your spaces. Interior light fixtures should be added in any way possible in all the spaces, the bedroom, to the indoor entryway, living spaces, office space, and kitchen. Additionally, updating interior chandeliers, pendants and lamps replacing the lamp shade, is an easy way to transform the look and feel of your home, office space or business.

Adding Artwork or Pictures Framed

Artwork is an essential element of any space, including spaces at home, office or business. It can add color, feelings and experiences to your space and is an great opportunity to show some individuality and personality. You can add a piece of art or a framed photo that you love to the space, move it from one room to another or enhance the frame. For picture frame the use of inserts (photo Mat) will create the sense of expensive, versus a regular frame. We have a great variety of Artwork that will enhance your space. Visit us at www.somethingaboutartanddesign.com .The simple act of hanging the new piece in any of your spaces at home, office or business can give your favorite wall decor a fresh new look. I would also encourage you to explore with canvas and paint and create your own art. If you have a collection of old frames gathering dust, paint those frames and bring them back to life. Artwork, and pictures on your walls bring more than color, bring energy, feelings and evoke emotions, be sure you have those that bring the best of those elements to your space.

Bringing outside to the inside

Bringing flowers, plants, rocks and other elements from nature, can enhance the space for free. Head outside and find a few items to bring home like fresh wild flowers, greenery or even a few rocks or stones, or tree branches. Pop these items into a vase, plant pot, and display them on your living room, kitchen table, shelf or on a bookshelf. If as part of your week grocery, you’ve got a lovely collection of fruit and vegetable, find a basket in your cabinets and make the fruit part of your kitchen decor–at least until it’s eaten by your family or you.
